Eligibility
Eligibility is determined by a clinician, not a quiz
Starting intake does not guarantee eligibility. It starts a careful, responsible review of whether supervised ketamine therapy may be a safe option for you.
Ketamine therapy is not appropriate for everyone. Certain medical conditions, medications, or mental health factors may make treatment unsafe or unsuitable. KetamineHubs is designed for adults (18+) only.
Start intake
What the review covers
A licensed clinician reviews four areas before any decision is made.
Medical history
Conditions that may affect safety or treatment appropriateness. Certain diagnoses are contraindications and will be assessed during review.
Psychiatric history
Current symptoms, stability, prior treatments, and support needs. The clinician assesses whether the supervised setting is appropriate for your situation.
Medications
Potential interactions and contraindications. Some medications require adjustment or may disqualify certain treatment protocols.
Goals and support
What you’re hoping to change and the support available during your program. Clinical team supervision must be available for all sessions at our Clinton center.
What to know before starting intake
-
Adults only (18+)
KetamineHubs does not provide care for minors. Age is verified during the intake process.
-
State availability
Eligibility is also subject to state availability. We’ll confirm whether ketamine therapy is available in your state during intake.
-
Clinical supervision is required
Clinical team supervision must be available for every session at our Clinton center. This is a non-negotiable safety requirement, not optional.
-
Emergency situations
If you’re experiencing a mental health or medical emergency, please seek help from local emergency services immediately. Do not use this process in place of emergency care.
Eligibility questions
If you have a question not covered here, our care team is happy to help.
Does completing the intake guarantee I’ll be eligible?
No. Starting intake is the beginning of a clinical review, not an approval. A licensed clinician makes the eligibility determination after reviewing your history, medications, and situation.
What conditions may disqualify me?
Certain medical conditions, active psychosis, some medications, and other clinical factors may make ketamine therapy unsafe or inappropriate. The clinician will explain clearly if that’s the case for you.
What if I’m not eligible?
You’ll be told clearly and promptly. If possible, we’ll suggest appropriate next steps or alternative resources. We don’t keep people in a holding pattern.
Is at-home always an option if I’m eligible?
Not always. The right setting depends on clinical context, your support environment, and state availability. In-clinic care may be recommended depending on your situation.
Can I re-apply if I wasn’t eligible before?
Yes. If your circumstances have changed — medications adjusted, support environment improved, or a prior contraindication resolved — you can start a new intake. The clinician will review your current situation.
